Favorite Quotes:

* Fran: You might as well get used to it. You’re going to be guarding your toys for the rest of your life.

* Niles: I thought something might be wrong with your eyes. A handsome man just walked in the room and you didn’t do your subtle Hannah Barbera reaction: heart pounding through your thorax, tongue unfurling to the floor.

* Max: I didn’t notice.
Fran: You didn’t notice? I’m beginning to wonder about you too.

* Niles: If you let me tell Miss Babcock about this I’ll work free for a year.

* Miss Babcock: Nanny Fine trying to pass off Kurt as a date, how pathetic.
Niles: This from a woman who went to Cancun with a crash dummy.

* Fran: I should be nuts about the guy. He knows everything about me and is still interested.

* Max: I want to apologize for the way I acted about you and Kurt.
Fran: Well, if I didn’t know any better I’d think you were jealous.

Synopsis: Grace is upset because she made a new friend who is only interested in her toys. Max comes in with Grace and Brighton, they are all on the same softball team. Grace’s play date arrives. Niles tells Fran she might want to get dressed. The nanny is a guy. She doesn’t respond. Niles checks her eyes. Fran tells him he’s gay. Later, the male nanny is impressed Fran got Willie to take a nap. Max and the kids come back with CC. It didn’t go well. Turns out Kurt was an understudy in one of Max’s plays. The kids wake up and want to go see The Lion King again, but both nannies say no. Fran and Kurt want to watch All My Children. She brings him up to speed. Grace misunderstands what Fran says and thinks she is pregnant. Another day, Fran and Kurt get back from a movie and coffee. Kurt is going to help her decide what clothes she’s going to return. In her room, Fran is going through the clothes she bought and just in a bra. She tries on a red top with holes in it. He suddenly makes a move on her. She doesn’t understand what’s going on. He then kisses her again. She was not expecting this from him…ever. Max walks by and sees but he thinks Fran is the one going after Kurt. He jumps to Kurt’s defense. Meanwhile, she’s still standing there in her bra as Kurt gives her a kiss goodbye. Max still hasn’t noticed she doesn’t have a shirt on. He finally points it out and she freaks out. Fran tries to put a shirt on and it’s stuck. Niles witnesses the whole scene but totally misunderstands. He desperately wants to tell Miss Babcock. Meanwhile, Grace and Willie are still “playing house”. Max is looking at Kurt’s headshot to find flaws. Miss Fine pops into Max’s office. He reads to Fran his very short resume. Fran gets ready for her date with Kurt. Max tells her that Kurt is straight. In the kitchen, Niles hints at Miss Babcock about an incident in Fran’s room. He doesn’t tell her but instead writes it out for her to read. Max comes in. He’s very bothered by Fran dating Kurt. Niles tries to make Max see that he is actually jealous. Fran comes down and is not so excited about her upcoming date with Kurt. Fran comes back to find Niles out cold and the kids still awake. Fran realizes that the “playing house” has gone too far. Fran puts their mind at rest that they misunderstand what she said. Max arrives home and apologizes to Fran.
