Synopsis:
Dorothy and Sophia are looking at photos when Rose and Blanche return from trying out to be in a local production of Cats. Stan shows up. He wants to talk sentimentally about baseball games they used to go to. Only one problem, he never took her to a baseball game. He got three tickets to the baseball game, but no one is willing to go with him so far. Sophia volunteers to go with him. At the game, Dorothy comments that normally she gets stuck next to a big sweaty hairy guy. He shows up moments later. Dorothy loses her patience and asks why they are there. Stanley tells her he’s bankrupt. During this conversation a ball is hit towards them. It hits Sophia in the head. She wakes up in the hospital confused. Back at the house, Rose and Blanche are trying to act like cats and driving Sophia, who’s home from the hospital, crazy. Stan shows up to check on Sophia. Stan tells Sophia he’s come up with a way to make some money. She is not impressed until he tells her about a lawsuit. She suddenly falls and yells she is paralyzed. She refuses to go to the hospital. Stanley has a doctor coming. He arrives and doesn’t really do a thing. Dorothy is furious. Another day and Sophia is watching a baseball game while she is in a wheelchair. Dorothy has no doubt she is faking. Blanche tells a story about trust. Dorothy pretends to have a heart attack to prove Sophia is faking. She doesn’t fall for it. Stanley arrives and talks to Sophia about the lawyer. She has to go to another doctor for an exam. The office has a bunch of people who are sick. Sophia starts to feel guilty. She admits she was faking it. Back at the house, Rose is walking to rehearsal in costume. The dog next door gives her a lot of attention.
