Synopsis: The team meets in the war room. The review their progress to date. They are going to dig in the money pit and drain the swamp to get to the bottom of both. Next the investigation of 10X and what the diver found are reviewed. They bring in a rig to remove the old drill casings from their previous drilling. This attempt isn’t going well, the pipe is not coming up. Back in the war room the team meets again. A gentle introduces them to a writer named Zena Halpern. who has a theory of her own? They conference call her. There are two maps and a cipher. The cipher uses many of the symbols from the 90-foot stone. He’s managed to decipher quite a few words. Zena believes it links to African gold. The Nova Scotia map shows some Oak Island points and has interesting notations. The Oak Island map has new points: The Basin, The Marsh, The Dam, The Oak Enter Here, and The Hatch. Marty wants to have the documents verified. The next day, three of the team travel to the mainland to see an old castle site that was possibly built by the Knights Templar. Once they arrive everyone gets introduced. They are shown a rock with a Templar Cross etched into it. Next, they are shown the well. One of the has brought a camera to inspect the well. Rick is in awe of the construction. It’s hundreds of years old and still in excellent condition. There is some type of obstruction and so the camera cannot reach all the way to the bottom. The team meets up at the local pub to discuss everything over some food. They decide to look for the hatch the next day. Dave thinks he knows where the hatch is and takes them there. They head to the spot and there is a depression, that is rectangular in shape.
