Synopsis: The team finally find a diver who can and will do the dive in 10X. His name is Harvey Morash. His biggest challenge is going to be to locate the drill bar and to shake it loose or make sure it’s not going to dislodge and crush him. He wants to test dive through a 27″ pipe to make sure he will fit. The team meets up with a dive team to go and check out the triangle stone. The marine archaeologist goes down first the check out the stone. He locates a large triangle rock covered in seaweed. He believes it to be man-made. He marks it with a buoy to be easily found again. Rick and Dave try to ready 10X for the dive. He has a probe that detects metal, he wants to try and locate the exact location of the drill bar. It’s 62 meters or 204 feet. The diver comes back up from the bottom. He confirms its a triangle with indentations. Rick and his son Alex suit up and dive to see the rock themselves. They don’t stay down long, but Tony does to investigate more. Tony finds an unusual stone object. 20 meters away he found another big triangle rock. They are all on the same bearing. Back on Oak Island they meet with Harvey. The test pipe is actually 26″ in diameter, so once inch smaller than the actual shaft. He made it, but it’s snug. Harvey agrees to dive 10X. The team has a meeting with Jeff Irving the night before the dive. He presents his theory, that the treasure hidden on the island is the Ark of the Covenant. The Templar’s and the Masons were part of it. He believes Sinclaire was there, but as a scout. And that Christopher Columbus was responsible for the Ark coming to the island. Back on the island it is dive day. There is an ambulance on site in case there is a need. The dive team is assembled and all the prep gets done. Harvey goes down first, and then Michael (the back up/safety diver) will go down. Both are in the water but the communications systems are not working.
