Summary:
Dorothy thinks Sophia ate a sardine sandwich, but she is really just dog sitting for Dreyfus. Dorothy tells her no, she doesn’t want to wind up watching Dreyfus. Sophia then tells a story about giving birth to Dorothy in a bar. Blanche comes back and asks about the dog, but Sophia makes a joke about her date instead. Rose comes home and asks if her sister has arrived. Her youngest sister Holly is coming to visit. She tells them she does not like this sister. Holly arrives and Rose asks the girls to help her through this visit. Rose tries to introduce everyone but Holly tries to guess who everyone is and get some brownie points. Sophia is not buying it. Later, Dreyfus is missing. She confides in Blanche. She suggests when everyone gets home they canvas the neighborhood. Sophia does not want Dorothy to know that she lost Dreyfuss. Gary stops by and gives Rose Blanche’s earrings that she left. Gary then makes a pass at Rose. She blows him off as she finds him disgusting. Blanche comes in and thinks Rose is trying to get Gary, but Rose makes clear she is not. Later, Dorothy is still out with Holly. Blanche tells Rose, Holly is not so bad. She tells her Holly took her to Antonio’s. Rose is surprised because it’s so close to her work. Blanche says she called but Rose states she did not. Holly and Dorothy come back. Again, Holly has tickets to take everyone to the theater except Rose. Rose is angry. Blanche tells a story. Later, Sophia comes back with a Dreyfuss look alike dog. But while she was gone, Dreyfuss returned. Now there is two and Sophia is hiding both in her room. Blanche points out that if both are together, how will she tell them apart? Another evening and Rose tries to tell Blanche about something Holly did. But both Blanche and Dorothy shut her down. Sophia wants to know. Rose tells her she saw Holly kissing Blanche’s boyfriend Gary. Sophia calls her a liar. But then decides to believe her. Sophia then asks Rose for help and shows her the two Drefuss’s. Rose figures out which dog is the real one by calling his name and he comes. Now she knows which dog to return. Another day and Gary cancels a date with Blanche. She is not upset because his mother needs surgery. Holly comes out of a bedroom quite surprised by Blanche and Dorothy being home already. But Dreyfuss comes out of the same bedroom with a pair of mens pants in his mouth. Gary Tucker, the man that Blanche has been dating and who canceled for his mother’s surgery comes out to get his pants. Holly has been caught in the act. Everyone is upset. Holly says she will leave the next day. Everyone apologizes to Rose for not believing her and promises to in the future. Meanwhile, Harry Weston comes back. Sophia goes to take Dreyfuss back but the dog acts weird. She will stop by the pet shop on the way.
