Synopsis: A family is playing ball in the park. The ball goes wide and the little girl goes off after it. The mom meanwhile has a weird guy come up to her freaked out that he lost his child. She follows him into the brush and he suddenly knocks her out and kidnaps her. In an apartment, a little boy wakes up his mom at 10pm. She runs off to work. Her work is on a corner. A man follows her up and alley and we hear two gunshots. At the BAU, Emily goes to see Hotch. He thinks it’s a social call and doesn’t realize she is starting in the BAU that day. JJ comes in to tell him there’s a case. Hotch dismisses her out of hand. Their case is in St. Louis. It’s actually two cases with two serial killers. Both are opposite of each other in MO. Derek meets with the husband of an abducted woman. The killer of the woman he abducted goes back to visit her body. Hotch and Reid go to see the mother of the woman who was shot and killed while working the street. JJ gets the set up for both cases: the Mill Creek Killer and the Hollow Man Killer. She meets with a member of the press and he’s worried for his safety. The police are informed that the abducted woman’s body has been found. They head to the scene of the body where they are surprised how pristine it is. It gives them more insight into him. The next day, a man sits in a tax and he follows to prostitutes. He shoots them both and leaves the paper with the Mill Creek Killer Headline with them. Reid and JJ analyze the letter he sent to the press. They give both profiles to the police. We see a woman riding a bike, she stops to call her friend, but the Mill Creek Killer approaches her and she goes missing. They set up check points at the park where he puts the bodies. He passes through as her body is hidden. Morgan realizes he has to know more about these parks then just a regular person. Morgan calls Garcia and they narrow down a search area. A cadaver dog finds the body easily. The leading officer wants to destroy the scene but Gideon won’t let him. He knows he’ll come back to visit and he wants to catch him then. They all stake out the area. Someone shows up to see the body. Everyone surrounds him and it’s the news writer. He got a letter telling him where to find the body. Now it’s all over the news. The Mill Creek Killer is out on the street and he picks another victim. This one fights back and gets away. Gideon tells her she saved her life by screaming. She agrees to sit with a sketch artist. Reid goes over the paper. He discovers both killers are talking to each other in the classifieds. The Hollow Man started the communication. They think one killer is trying to kill the other. They set up a sting in the forest again. A live woman is playing the bait. An ad is placed to him. He takes the bait. They arrest him. They take him in the most public door for everyone to see. Gideon questions him. It’s a very unique conversation. He admits he killed them. A press conference is held and the Hollow Man is baited. He takes it and goes to the police station and takes an officer hostage. Morgan is able to take him down. JJ makes sure the victims of both killers are remembered. When Hotch returns he finds Emily in his office. She tries to prove herself. He gives her a chance.
