Synopsis:
Leonard and Sheldon give presentations about their departments. However, Sheldon doesn’t want to do his part of the presentation. Leonard does what he has to get Sheldon to come out. He threatens to not take him to the comic shop. It’s not a good speech. Leonard can’t even look at him. Another day, the guys are having lunch in the cafeteria. Raj asks what the rules are about dating grad students. Leonard says you only have to talk to them to ask them out. Raj is sad, since he can’t talk to girls. Leslie swings by their table and points out he made a grad student vomit last night. She insults him again. Ramona comes over, she was in the lecture last night. She asks him a question and he’s actually impressed. She asks him out, but he doesn’t realize it. She offers to bring food over. He tells her what he eats on Monday and from where. She is OK with that and says she already knows where he lives. Hi thinks he’s getting a free dinner, but it’s really more like a date. She arrives with food and meets Penny at the elevator. She learns its broken and she’ll have to go up the stairs. Penny is shocked to learn that she is there to see Sheldon. Penny follows her up the stairs and keeps asking if it’s Sheldon Cooper? Ramona arrives with Penny in toe. Leonard says hi and asks what she’s doing. She tells him she needs to see this. He points out the viewing area. They start talking and it gets a bit weird. Ramona gets cranky because she wants to be alone with Sheldon. Leonard ushers all of them out (Penny, Raj, Howard and himself). In the hall Penny asks about Sheldon and what he likes. The answers she gets leave her surprised. Penny excuses herself. The guys, minus Sheldon, head to Howard’s for his moms brisket. The next day Leonard finds Sheldon in the cafeteria, pouring over books. Leonard asks how it went with Ramona. He seems to like her. She brings his breakfast over as well. Leslie comes over to the table and makes fun of Sheldon again. However, Ramona gives it right back to her. She even gets rid of her. Penny comes over to the apartment with a package. She finds Sheldon’s in a bath and Ramona giving him a pedicure. She’s well past shocked by this sight and can’t get out fast enough. After exiting she leans against the door looking like she’s going to vomit. Leonard comes up the stairs and smiles at her. Leonard asks about Halo night. Sheldon is going to go, but Ramona gets upset. He doesn’t go after all. She’s taking away all his fun activities. It’s paintball weekend and he is dressed to go but she doesn’t let him. Then she finds him in the shower playing a handheld game that she takes away. She then takes away a Batman comic book. He tries to sneak out for paintball and runs right into her. Sheldon desperately knocks on Penny’s door. He asks her to help him get rid of Ramona. He feels she is an expert in ending relationships because he sees man after man leaving her apartment and they don’t return. Ramona wakes up and yells for Sheldon. Sheldon begs Penny to hide him. Ramona comes in the hall and asks him why he isn’t working. She accuses Penny of being in love with Sheldon. Penny shakes her head horrified. That night, Leonard wakes up to tapping. It’s Morse code he’s tapping. Leonard makes him stop so he comes in Leonard’s room. Sheldon needs his help. Ramona comes in and drags him out of Leonard’s room. The next day, Sheldon has had a breakthrough. She asks him to share credit on his breakthrough and he promptly kicks her out. She runs out past Penny. The next day, another grad student comes up to Sheldon about his new theory. He mentions what he eats on Thursday’s. She’s says she’ll bring it over, she knows where he lives. It’s Ramona again. That night Sheldon has 4 helpings of Pad Thai. He starts shaking and suddenly splits in two. It was a nightmare Leonard was having.
