Book: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkeban by JK Rowling (Harry Potter #3)

Harry’s summer goes from bad to worse when he learns that Aunt Marge is coming for a week. At the final dinner, he loses his temper and she turns into a giant balloon. Fearing the worst, he collects his belongings and flees. While not knowing where to go he sees a large dog. As a result of the fright he manages to summon the Knight Bus and gets a ride to the Leaky Cauldron. He’s not in as much trouble as he thought. He stays at the pub till school starts.

On the train, they meet their new professor, Lupin. Dementors search the train looking for Sirius Black. Apparently, he’s escaped from Azkeban. In a tragic twist of fate, he’s also Harry’s Godfather.

It’s a tumultuous year. Harry is nearly killed by dementors several times, Lupin turns into a werewolf and almost kills Harry and friends, and the truth about what happens to Harry’s parents comes out.
