Synopsis:

Leonardo discusses his worries about the black hole generator with Splinter. April wonders where Leo is. They all discuss how Leonardo is doing. Fugitoid tells them the holo can psychically read their memories. So Leonardo is talking to their memories of Splinter. Fugitoid then shows them a massive cosmic ocean. It holds a piece of the black hole generator. A shark shaped ship is following them though. They arrive at the ocean, aka the nebula. Fugitoid is unsure what will happen when they enter. Donatello is excited by this ecosystem. They exit the ship to speak with the Dega. Instead of taking they are attacked and captured. Fugitoid shows the symbol of the Utrom to get their attention and help. They are taken to the Supreme Ruler. The leader asks why they are worthy of the piece of the black hole generator. They are put to a test with a monster. It’s one of the six great monsters of the universe. Armagon decides to attack them while they travel to it. He breaches the hull and gets into the ship. He takes control. He informs them he’s been following them for a while. He takes the first piece of the black hole generator and wants the second piece too. They arrive at the monster’s cave. April senses the monster inside the cave. They turn on the lights and learn they have almost gone right into its mouth. They escape and it follows them. It keeps trying to eat them. They get a reprieve when an asteroid slams into it. It gives up chase and swims away. The Dega knock out Armagon and haul him off to jail. Leonardo is upset because he thinks they will not be found worthy now of the piece of the black hole generator. The Supreme Ruler is angry. She is going to imprison Armogon. She calls the turtles failures. Lord Dregg has arrived and he’s brought company. He wants the black generator piece too. The turtles step in to defend the Supreme Ruler. She sends in her troops as well. Armogon gets free and joins in the fight. He tries to eat Mikey. Everyone is down, and now the Surpreme Ruler is taking on Lord Dregg herself. He tries to kill her with a bomb but Leonardo jumps in front of it to save her. She then makes a vocal call. She calls the monster. It comes and wraps a tentacle around each of the enemy and throws them in its mouth. It swims off. Everyone dusts themselves off. The Supreme Ruler personally checks on Leonardo. She thanks them for all fighting to save and protect her kingdom. She presents them with the second fragment of the black hole generator. They reboard their ship. The Dega have repaired it. They fly away. But another bug locates the monster and fills its mouth with eggs. Suddenly, a new fleet of insects and Lord Dregg emerge.
