Synopsis: Two high school kids, a boy and a girl, are jobbing in the mountains. The girl stops to rest and the boy continues on. She hears noises, freaks out and starts running. She finds her boyfriend dead on the path. The sheriff finds his dead body but there is no sign of the girl. They find another body that was much older and above it are markings that look satanic. Morgan and Reid talk at the office. Reid isn’t sleeping because he’s having nightmares. The team discusses what they know and head to the crime scene. On the plane they discuss the history of Satanism and it’s myth. At the scene Reid identifies the older victim as a male. They analyze the scene. A parent comes on the scene and informs them her daughter went running with Adam that morning and she can’t find her. The Sheriff opens up a search party. JJ tells him to use local volunteers. At the station Reid meets the Sheriff’s son. At the search site they get a large turnout. JJ has Garcia run background on all the volunteers. Only one name pops and he’s in Elle’s grid. Elle finds a strange note that has blood on it. The BAU delivers the profile at the sheriff’s station. Cory leads them to Mike Zizzo. As they all leave for the raid one of the girls Gideon saw at the search is nearby, he stays to talk with her. He follows her to a church. At the station they interview Zizzo. At the church the girl tells Gideon about the body and how they watched it decompose. Back at they house they raided Reid and Morgan have words. Cory shows ups and he is agitated. He tells them about an outbuilding and takes them too it. Zizzo’s interrogation continues. They go in the outbuilding that Cory lead them to and find her dead. Morgan sends Reid back to call the team. At the station Gideon tells the sheriff about the girl and the skeleton. That someone wants them to believe that there are Satanists there. One of the deputies informs them all a gun is missing from the gun locker. Morgan keeps talking to Cory. But Reid comes back and pulls a gun on Reid. Reid and Morgan managed to take him down. On the plane Gideon shows Reid a picture. It’s of a girl they were able to save.
